Below, I link to blog posts and other online resources that offer advice for entrepreneurs. My selections are tailored for consumer Internet startups, but should be helpful to teams in other sectors. There’s a lot of information here, so don’t try to digest everything in one session. I'll update this post periodically (and mark additional links as NEW), so please share suggestions via comments, email, or Twitter.

  2. Tom, well done - solid list. I would love for you to check out my relatively new blog providing legal tips for entrepreneurs here: http://walkercorporatelaw.com/blog

Indeed, as I note on the video in the sidebar, I am trying to help entrepreneurs from the legal side based on my 15+ years of corporate-law experience (including nearly 8 years at two major NYC firms).

Take care - and keep up the great work.

  3. Great list!

I'd probably say every single Paul Graham essay is worth reading, as well as the entire Marc Andreesen Series on startups (I think you've got Part 5 and 6).

And a quick correction, Dharmesh is Co-Founder and CTO of HubSpot, not CEO.

  10. Tom,
Great information here. You may want to include Sir Ron Cohen's book "Second Bounce of the Ball" (http://ronaldcohen.net/biography.asp), as he describes in detail his approach to building what became Apax Partners. I think this book is a must read for any entrepreneur who will seek funding and for people seeking careers in venture capital and buyouts.
